Prevention Costs A Fraction of Repair

Leather deteriorates in a predictable sequence: moisture loss leads to surface stiffness, stiffness leads to surface cracking, cracking exposes the base coat, and UV exposure then causes rapid colour fading. In Delhi's climate this sequence accelerates because of the extreme swing between 45-degree summers and AC-cooled interiors, followed by high-humidity monsoons. An AMC interrupts the sequence before each stage by replenishing oils before winter dryness sets in and applying anti-fungal treatment before the monsoon arrives.

Quarterly Deep Conditioning

Professional conditioning four times a year - not a consumer product wipe-down, but a full clean-and-condition cycle using penetrating fat-liquor formulations that reach the leather grain. Each visit is timed to match the seasonal transition: pre-winter, mid-winter, pre-monsoon, and post-monsoon.

Pre-Monsoon Mildew Protection

Every June visit includes anti-fungal treatment before Delhi's monsoon humidity hits. This is the single most impactful seasonal intervention - mildew that establishes in August foam takes 3-4 hours to treat and remove. Prevention takes 20 minutes. AMC clients almost never develop monsoon mildew.

Minor Repair at Every Visit

Small scratches under 3cm, minor scuffs, light surface marks, and small colour fade spots are repaired during each scheduled visit at no additional charge. These are the repairs that, if left, become the expensive jobs - catching them at 5mm means no charge; waiting until they are 15cm means a repair bill.

Priority Same-Week Booking

AMC clients are never put on a standard 7-10 day waitlist. If a pet accident, transit damage, or sudden stain needs emergency attention, AMC clients receive same-week appointments - usually within 2-3 days. During festive season when demand peaks, this priority matters significantly.

Written Condition Report

After every visit we provide a one-page condition report noting what was treated, what was repaired, and what to watch over the next quarter. This creates a documented history of your leather's condition - useful for insurance, resale, or simply understanding your sofa's ageing pattern.

20-25% Off Major Work

If a major repair is needed - recolouring, panel replacement, foam replacement, or full restoration - AMC clients receive 20% off (25% on the Full Home plan). Given that a single recolouring job on a 3-seater runs Rs 14,000-22,000, the discount alone can exceed the annual AMC fee in a single year.

Initial Leather Audit

We visit your home, assess every leather piece, photograph current condition, and note leather type - aniline, semi-aniline, pigmented, or bonded. This audit informs the conditioning product selection and the repair priority list for the first visit. The audit takes 30-45 minutes and is free.

Contract and Annual Schedule

You choose the plan (1 sofa, 2 sofas, or full home up to 5 pieces). We schedule all four visits for the year upfront and share a calendar confirmation. You receive an SMS reminder 3 days before each visit. Pricing is fixed for 12 months - no mid-year increases.

, Phase Three

Quarterly Visits

Each visit runs 2-3 hours. It covers deep clean, appropriate-season conditioning, minor repair of any new marks found, and a condition note. The Q2 (June) visit adds the pre-monsoon anti-fungal treatment. The Q4 (December) visit uses a richer conditioning formula for the dry winter months.

Annual Review and Renewal

At year end we review the condition improvement across all four visits, flag any major work needed in the coming year, and offer renewal at the locked rate. What exactly counts as a minor repair under AMC?

Minor repairs included at no charge: surface scratches under 5cm, scuffs on high-contact areas (armrests, headrest zones), small colour fade patches under 10 square centimetres, and surface stain removal on non-set stains. Major work billed separately at 20-25% discount: cracks requiring filler, recolouring across large areas, panel replacement, foam replacement, and structural repairs.

Can I add more sofas or pieces mid-contract?

Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any point during the contract year. Additional pieces are added at a prorated charge calculated from the upgrade date to the contract end date. The new pieces are included in the next scheduled visit from that point.

What if I miss or need to reschedule a visit?

Missed and rescheduled visits carry forward - your annual visit count never reduces due to scheduling changes on our side or yours. We ask for 48 hours notice for reschedules where possible, but we accommodate urgent changes without penalty.

Do recliners and office chairs count toward the piece limit?

Yes - any leather upholstery piece counts toward your AMC piece count. Recliners, single-seaters, and office chairs are common additions to the Full Home plan. If you're not sure whether a piece qualifies, mention it when you enquire and we will confirm.

Is there a travel charge for areas outside Delhi proper?

No travel surcharge for anywhere within Delhi NCR - this covers Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, and Greater Noida. For locations beyond NCR we quote a travel supplement at the time of enquiry.

My sofa needs significant repair right now. Can I sign AMC and get it fixed at the discounted rate?

Yes. The major repair discount applies from the moment the contract is signed. The initial audit visit in week one can include the major repair work at the discounted rate. This is one of the most common reasons people sign AMC - the first-year discount often more than covers the annual fee.
