Surface Scratch and Scuff Repair

Flexible filler is applied in thin layers building up to the surrounding surface level. Once cured, grain mould is pressed to continue the leather texture across the fill. Pigment is airbrushed to match surrounding colour. Most surface damage is completed and undetectable in a single visit.

Tear Repair and Colour Transfer Removal

Tears are backed, filled, grain-matched, and pigment-blended. Colour transfer and adhesive residue are addressed with targeted solvent treatment followed by retoning where needed. These are done after surface repair so the surrounding area is stable before more complex work begins.

Condition, Seal, and Final Documentation

Why Movers Damage Leather Sofas

The damage mechanics are predictable: dragging a sofa backward over a floor edge creates a long scratch from the base of the leg to the seat rail. Forcing a wide sofa through a tight doorframe tears the side panel at the frame angle. Packing tape pressed against the leather for 2-3 hours transfers adhesive and colour from the tape backing.
