Forty-degree dry heat at barely 30% humidity bakes the oils out of aniline hide until it turns board-stiff and starts to split. We clean and patiently re-oil it in a single visit - your sofa stays put in the living room.

1,200+ sofas cleaned across India
Arid grit lifted dry, then a deep clean and a slow re-oiling worked right into the grain - all done in your home.
Leather here is up against a punishing climate: 40-45C summers that bake aniline rigid, harsh glare that washes out the sun-facing panels, and parched air that keeps grit drifting into the grain. The Italian imports in Bodakdev and Vastrapur homes need aniline-safe handling before anything reaches the visible hide. Where others cart your sofa off for days, we set up in your living room and wrap inside 3-4 hours.

What began as one home visit grew into a craft.
Today our hands have brought leather back in more than 1,200 homes nationwide - never a batch, always one hide at a time.
Ahmedabad punishes leather through dryness - furnace heat bakes the natural oils out, window sun fades the panels it falls on, and arid dust grinds at the surface. Slapping foam over a parched hide does nothing for any of that. Working as a leather atelier does, we clean with pH-tuned solvents, feed the grain with hide-matched conditioners, seal sun-struck areas under a UV-resistant topcoat and have the shade colour re-matched where the glare has lifted it - every step patch-tested first on your own grade.

1,200+ pieces brought back across Ahmedabad & India
Every conditioner and pigment we carry is drawn from the professional line built for Natuzzi, Poltrona Frau and Fendi Casa seating, with nothing off a retail shelf. We dial the choice to your hide's grade and run it on a concealed test patch ahead of the main coat. Industry body Leather Naturally notes that good full-grain leather can run past 20 years when it is cleaned and fed correctly.
Book Atelier VisitA typical service loads the sofa onto a van and holds it for several days. Our crew inspects, draws out the dust, re-oils the grain and seals it right where it stands - the piece never crosses your doorway.

Plenty of Vastrapur and Prahlad Nagar drawing rooms hold imported aniline - bare, uncoated hide that has gone hard in the heat. The wrong bottle stains it for good. We read the hide type and how deep the crazing runs before a single cap comes off.
Inspection & Leather ID
Thaltej and Satellite homes frequently keep Italian aniline pieces - wholly bare, uncoated hide that this dry climate stiffens in a hurry. Aniline drinks any cleaning agent straight into the grain, so a wrong choice darkens it for good within minutes. Hide type and crazing depth are settled before anything is opened.
With the air this arid, grit never settles - it hangs, then beds down into grain and seams and kills the sheen. Clean wet over it and you drag those particles across the finish. A soft brush and gentle vacuum take it out dry first.
Dry-Dust Extraction
The bone-dry climate keeps fine grit and the occasional loo-storm dust drifting indoors, where it lodges in leather grain and channels and dulls the sheen. Cleaning wet over that dry abrasive scours particles across the grain and leaves micro-scratches. A soft brush and low-suction vacuum draw it off dry first.
Skin oils, haldi and ghee marks, and heat-set grime come away under a cleaner held to leather's own 4.5-5.5 acidity, loosening the soil while leaving the topcoat and finish untouched.
pH-Balanced Deep Clean
Kitchen oil residue, turmeric and farsan marks, and sun-baked surface grime cling to the finish. A cleaner tuned to the hide's own mild acidity dissolves them along with body oils, never stripping pigment or leaving a washed-out halo behind.
Dry heat boils off the fat-liquor and leaves the hide brittle. A hide-matched conditioner feeds the oils back in slowly; a breathable UV-resistant topcoat then holds back fresh fade on the window-facing panels.
Rehydrate & UV-Protect
Month after month of 40-45C heat drives off the fat-liquor - the oils that keep grain supple - so the hide stiffens and crazes. A hide-matched conditioner coaxes that moisture back in. A breathable UV-resistant topcoat then curbs repeat fade on the sun-struck panels. The sofa is fit to use again roughly 3-4 hours after we finish.
Here leather fails in three ways that gentler-climate cities seldom see. One: dry-heat cracking. Run the summers at 40-45C and you cook the fat-liquor out fast, so a Satellite or Prahlad Nagar aniline stiffens and crazes inside a couple of seasons. Two: window UV fade. Hard low-latitude sun through the big Bodakdev and Vastrapur living-room panes bleaches sun-facing aniline in 18-24 months - recolour sealed under a UV topcoat is the only fix that lasts. Three: airborne grit. The parched air keeps fine dust drifting into the grain and flattening the finish. At inspection we name which of the three you are actually fighting.

Heat-cracked hide, sun-bleached colour, arid grit in the grain - three faults, each with its own remedy, all in one doorstep visit.
We reach Satellite, Bodakdev, Prahlad Nagar, Vastrapur and Thaltej within a day or two. Dry heat and dust leave hide parched and splitting, so we pull grit out dry, re-oil, then deep-clean - colour reads true, not smeared.

"Two scorching summers had left our brown aniline 3-seater stiff as a board, with fine crazing right along the seat. They named it as aniline straight away, tested an arm panel, and re-oiled it across one afternoon. The grain has its give back, and they were upfront that the seams just needed watching - no scare talk."
"Next to the big living-room window our tan L-sofa in Bodakdev had bleached to a pale patch on the sunny side. They rematched the pigment, recoloured the faded panels and sealed them under a UV topcoat - and were clear from the start that cleaning alone would never bring the colour back. Both sides read the same now."
"Fine grit had dulled our black pigmented 5-seater in Prahlad Nagar, plus a haldi mark from a family dinner. Earlier cleaners only ever wiped the surface. This crew drew the dust out dry first and then deep-cleaned - the stain came up with no pale ring and the sheen returned."
